The ELR30PN is ideal for applications where services are either unmanned or difficult to access but still require Earth Leakage protection. Typical examples are (but not limited to) Traffic Lights, Public Street Lighting, Telecommunications – all of which must operate reliably and safely.
The Auto-Reclosing feature will automatically carry out a reset and providing the fault isn’t permanent, will ensure that power is restored as quickly as possible. The settings for the reclosing operation are fully configurable and that a maximum number of attempts can also be set.
It’s benefits are clear in that no user intervention is normally required and therefore disruption to services is greatly reduced. Only where a fault continues to re-occur and within a particular time period will the unit trip and remain tripped.
