We are pleased to introduce New NFC based Earth Leakage Relays which were officially launched at the recent Middle East Electricity Exhibition in Dubai.

These innovative relays are designed to make installation and setting up quick and easy and with the emphasis on saving time.

Two models are available: ELR01PN and ELR30PN both of which have identical features however differ as far as their trip settings go. The ELR30PN offers a tripping setting range of 30mA to 30A, whereas the ELR01PN can be set between 6mA and 1A. This particular model is aimed at applications such as Petrochemical, Hospitals, Entertainment, etc which require high sensitivity trip thresholds i.e. 6mA and 10mA.

NFC connectivity allows for the user to access and set many options that are available using the app. In addition, the “cloning” feature then allows for the user to replicate these settings on further units. This is just one of the time saving features that is offered. The unit does not need to be powered either for these settings or changes to be made!

Key parameters that can be set via the app:

• Auto-reclosure operation
• Filter cut-off points
• Output relay operation/configuration
• Toroid ratio

The app includes “pre-defined” profiles which have been created for specific applications. The purpose being that certain settings have already been defined and that the user simply selects the profile then uploads this to the unit. Further adjustments can still be made if required.

Information can also be read back from the unit using the app. Leakage current that is present in the system – which is useful for the purpose of diagnostics, previous trip history which is also useful for establishing a pattern in the tripping occurrences. This information can then be analyzed by the user before any adjustments are made to the unit.

A multivoltage (Energy efficient) power supply range of 24-230VAC/DC makes this universal product suitable for many global applications.
