We have added the ELRM44V-M and ELRM44V-M[FS] to our range of Type A earth leakage relays, offering adjustable protection with a choice of standard or fail-safe output operation.
Used with our external BZCT core balance current transformers (CBCTs), both models provide true RMS detection of residual AC and pulsating DC currents. Their compact, 44mm-wide DIN rail housing makes them easy to integrate into electrical distribution and control panels.
Two options to suit your control circuit
- ELRM44V-M: the output relay is normally de-energised and energises on trip.
- ELRM44V-M[FS]: the output relay is normally energised and de-energises on trip or loss of auxiliary supply.
Key features
Both variants offer:
- Selectable trip levels from 30mA to 5A and time delays from 0 to 5 seconds.
- An isolated 230V AC auxiliary supply and 8A SPDT relay output.
- LED indication of supply status, leakage current level and trip condition.
- A combined Test/Reset button, with latched trip operation.
- Compliance with IEC 60947-2 Annex M and IEC 60755.
An external CBCT is required and should be selected to suit the installation and required trip sensitivity.
